I have loved getting to know Amy and Edgar. I photographed their wedding and quickly became friends with them and all the sweet people who attended. Later in the year I had been itching to do a photoshoot up at Bogus Basin with all the beautiful greenery, so I had them be my models and HOLY CRAP.
We created some BEAUTIFUL images!! I love how connected they are to each other. The whole time I was with them I was basically just chasing them around the mountain while they laughed, cuddled, and shared some amazing moments together.
Honestly I think one of my favorite parts of photography is just being able to observe the couples and families I work with from a distance. You know when people tell you that you can't see your own beauty or worth? That's kind of how I feel when I'm taking pictures of people...they're just doing their thing and I'm behind my camera practically having a heart attack because I can just feel all the love and emotion they're pouring into each other. It's truly amazing, and I love that I can give people the gift of seeing their "beauty" in the form of pictures.
